MyStyle Customization Process

The process of ordering clothing that's custom fit to your unique shape is surprisingly quick and easy!

STEP 1: We gather your measurements.  At a personal appointment or at a MyStyle trunk show or sales event one of our associates will take your measurements with a traditional measuring tape, in private.

In the future, MyStyle will use cutting-edge body scanning technology to take measurements in a matter of seconds. You'll step into a large booth (fully clothed), and in only about 10 seconds sound-wave technology will scan your body and collect a full set of measurement data points.

STEP 2: Pick the clothes you want.  You can look at sample garments, fabric swatches, and sketches to pick the clothing you want to buy from our collections.  First, you pick the garment you want, such as pant, long jacket, short jacket, or skirt. For example:

Next you decide if you want to simply buy one of MyStyle's pre-selected "packages" of coordinated fabric and detailing—For example:

OR if you want to "design" your garment yourself, customizing it by selecting from a range of options for fabric, lining, pocket styles, buttons, and other elements.  For example:

You can create clothing in the styles you want that fit your body and flatter your shape—clothes as unique as you are!

STEP 3: Pattern customization.   MyStyle's mass-customization system pulls an electronic "master" pattern for the garment you've ordered and sends that pattern to a Made-to-Measure software program.  Computerized fit and alteration rules (algorithms) adjust the pattern to your specific measurements. The result: A completely individualized pattern, made just for you! 

STEP 4: Cutting.  A marker file of your unique pattern is then sent to a robotic, single-ply cutter that cuts the fabric precisely to your measurements. 

STEP 5: Sewing.  The cut fabric pieces are sewn and finished in our US-based factory, ready to ship to you.

STEP 6: Delivery.  Your finished garment is delivered right to your door.  From order to delivery, the entire process takes just two weeks!
